It's been way to long since my last post. I've been so busy with school and work it doesn't even feel like I ever have a free moment. Mostly my days consist of work-class-work-study, which indefinitely means Chemistry. I eat, sleep, and breathe Chemistry and not in a good way. Spring Break is just around the corner and shopping will be all I'll have to worry about. Sounds nice...

This semester is flying by so quickly and its a good thing. I can't wait until I can start taking classes that actully pertain to my major(even if that does mean Chemistry). Last night I went with Marnie to the Creighton-Nebraska basketball game and it rocked!! I can't believe that we finally beat them! On Tuesday Chris, Matt, Marnie, and I are making our way to Kansas City to the Duke game. I couldn't be more excited!! The only basketball games I've ever seen have either been Louisville or Nebraska(what a change!). Classes have been done for me since Thursday, so I just have to work and then I can head home for some turkey dinner!! yay!!

This weekend's Husker game was AWEASOME! I can't believe how close we were. I had the best time, which doesn't seem to happen a lot to me at football games, so it must have been pretty good. Before the game, Chris and I went to the Husker Men's first official basketball practice-they looked pretty good, Aleks must have been working on those 3-pointers because it showed- and then met up at 4:30 for a signing. It was great...we were the ONLY college age kids in line. I'm looking forward to basketball season already!!

You would think that since Wednesday has past, my Biology test would be soon over and done with, but it's not. Sure, I took the test, but waiting to see what myscore is, is just as tourmenting. The weekend is here, but somehow the stress of school won't leave me alone. I guess that's what college is all about.

Have you ever studied so long that your brain feels like it's floating? Well, I have. Starting from Saturday until today, I have stuided for my Biology test for a record of 20 hours! The sad thing is that I don't even feel prepared. I guess the true testement will be tomorrow at 12:30. I studied until late last night and I had to drag myself out of bed at 8:20 so I could be on East Campus by 9:00 for a review for the first test I have tomorrow(yes unfortunately I have two, man I'm blessed). Well, the TA decided not to show up, so me and four other kids wondered around aimlessly for what seemed like forever!! Soon enough, someone in the departement told us to show up again at 1:00. Ok, plan:
1.go home and study for my FACS test
2.call in sick to work
3.go to East Campus for a review
4.come home and study for the FACS test once again
5.be done with that
6.take a nap
7.then study from 8-12 with Marnie and Rishi for Biology.
Yeah, my day has completely sucked and tomorrow is not looking good...good luck to me. One more hour of studying, and then off to bed. Yes, what a great feeling(yeah right)!

Trial Run

After being begged by Chris for weeks to create my own blog, I've given in. We'll see how this goes...just a trial run. This past week and weekend has consisted of staying up late and studying. Except stepping out to witness the best game ever...Nebraska stomping Troy!! One test last week and two yet to come, both on the same day. I studied so much last night that I couldn't sleep because I was reviewing all I had "learned" in my head, over and over and over. Had to wake up bright and early head over to east campus just to be saddend with the fact that there are many abandoned orphans in Romania. I missed class last Wednesday due to a sickness that seems to be floating about campus and also around our apartment. We can't seem to hack it. I tried to get notes that I missed for four days now, from the ONLY person I know in the class. Well, she doesn't want me to have them....looks like I'm out of luck.
Bye for now...
